Relics Speed & Custom, LLC was founded out of a deep love for classic cars and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Tracy Vance grew up restoring cars with his parents, Rick and Gayle. Originally from Lewiston but living most of his life in Eastern Washington, Tracy developed a passion for building hot rods and saving relics from the wrecking yards. Tracy is also a trained Journeyman level Machinist and Millwright, which makes him able to navigate specialized projects that need extra care.

Tracy and Megan Vance met and married in 2011. After buying their first home, which included a 2-car detached garage, Megan was quickly introduced to all the projects that can happen in a “shop.” After 10+ years of hobby building, expanding to a larger home shop, and honing skills, Tracy and Megan decided to move the family to North Idaho, where they could grow a business and enjoy mountain living with their son. Relics Speed & Custom, LLC became official in Sandpoint, ID, in March of 2023. Tracy is dedicated to preserving the legacy of classic cars through expert fabrication, custom builds, and meticulous restorations.
